On Saturday 10th Nov we hosted the Church of Scotland – Pastoral Care Conference
With over 470 delegates this was one of our busiest events.
Delegates came from all across Scotland to learn all about Pastoral Care.
Here are some highlights from Pastoral Care 2017 to give you an idea what the event was like. We will share the 2018 links as soon as they become available.
‘Nurturing Pastoral Care Together’
Based on the forthcoming Learn: Pastoral Care publication, the conference will look at how we can nurture our Christian pastoral care. Delegates will be provided with initial resources and practical guidance, and encouraged to reflect on their care for others as well as themselves.
Contributors to the new publication – Gabrielle Dench, Janet Foggie, Tom Gordon, Ewan Kelly, Cameron Langlands, Blair Robertson, John Swinton and Gayle Taylor – will speak on the following themes:
